This trick increase Simultaneous Internet Download Connections and increases the number of allowed simultaneous connections to a higher number. The default value is only five connections. Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings. Right click on the window pane and create a DWord key with the name “MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server” as it is without quotes. Set the value to a higher number like 0000000a. Note that they are zeros and not alphabet ‘O’. Right click on the window pane and create another DWord key with the name “MaxConnectionsPerServer”. No quotes please.
